What a good read! From some fine poetry and prose from the hearts of middle school kids to the strategies and tactics the author used to bring that out of students. This is a book that will draw me back to review and refresh why we should not give up on our kids today. The Language Arts and Skills section toward the back of the book is terrific. Very good stuff for any teacher or parent/grandparent seeking to help their kids master the fine art of expressing themselves in writing.
