Tod Horton –
This book is an eye opening look into the current day culture of the White Evangelical church. The author, Dan Crain, and I grew up in Bradford County Pennsylvania, attended the same church for some time, and shared many of the same cultural experiences in our rural county. We both led racially and culturally sheltered lives. Dan developed a heart for racial justice, and entered a fulltime ministry of reconciling racial divides. His path to writing this book is an unexpected one, given his culturally non-diverse upbringing. You will enjoy this book for the riveting story, and be changed by the compelling message that unfolds throughout the pages.
