Salted With Fire: Behold the Lamb of God

Jesus did not meet the expectations of the religious leaders of his time, nor of his earthly parents, nor of those he healed, nor of his own disciples. He was infinitely greater. He understood absolutely, he knew fully, and he saved completely. His amazing miracles and elegant discourses were merely aids to bring the lost to Himself—invitations to join him in eternity. Today Jesus is still the same, and the invitation still stands.

Salted with Fire examines the meanings behind Jesus’ words and actions thereby empowering today’s disciples to know him more and lead others to safety in him.

About the Author

Image
Retired elementary school teacher Elvean Bailey enjoyed writing stories about historical figures to capture and maintain the interest of her students. An evangelist who was born in Birmingham and who labored in Chicago, Elvean is the mother of two adult daughters who are also writers. She hopes to someday co-author a book with each of them: with Sheri€”poetry, with Jori€”health. Ms. Bailey's Salted with Fire series is her newest tool for sharing Jesus with the world. She also envisions being a blessing to abused and neglected children and, in addition, assisting young mothers in achieving their Graduate Equivalency Diplomas (GEDs).
