Elvean Bailey
Retired elementary school teacher Elvean Bailey enjoyed writing stories about historical figures to capture and maintain the interest of her students. An evangelist who was born in Birmingham and who labored in Chicago, Elvean is the mother of two adult daughters who are also writers. She hopes to someday co-author a book with each of them: with Sheripoetry, with Jorihealth. Ms. Bailey’s Salted with Fire series is her newest tool for sharing Jesus with the world. She also envisions being a blessing to abused and neglected children and, in addition, assisting young mothers in achieving their Graduate Equivalency Diplomas (GEDs).
