The world Kathryn Dahlstrom has created within the pages of Children of Angels is an epic battleground pitting good against evil, truth against falsehood, and faith against doubt. In the midst of the action, some of the most pressing questions that may arise in the minds of men are examined: “Where was God when they took my aunts to the gas chambers?”; “Why had Dad made drugs more important than Mom, Dana, and his son?”; “Do you really love me, Lord Jesus?” The writing style is both gripping and entertaining , aimed at young people, but appealing to readers across the age spectrum. –From Brian Carpentier’s book review blog “Bibliogical Bibble Babble,”

Throughout this entire story, you’re on pins and needles wondering what is going to happen next. I absolutely love books like this.Kathryn Dahlstrom writes in a captivating way. I like how she intertwines Biblical and spiritual truths into this story about spiritual warfare from a unique and creative perspective. “Children of Angels” is a thrilling and enjoyable read. I highly recommend this book.

This is excellent. The writing is intelligent, compelling, savvy, current (but not stupid or forced), with excellent descriptions, word pictures and references. It’s not overtly “teen” to the point adults are bored while reading it. It’s not dumbed-down, lame or childish. It’s a very easy read for any age. And, I will admit, sometimes I don’t read Christian fiction because it can be smarmy. This is not! And I teared up when Jeremy met Jesus – very moving and real. Kathryn pulls no punches in the priority of who Jesus is, with awesome love and grace.
