Where Are the Mosquitos

Buzz, buzz, buzz! Marilissa and her family live in Togo, West Africa, where mosquitos carrying malaria buzz everywhere. Marilissa has to take special medicine and eat grapefruit—yuck!—to keep well. Now Marilissa’s daddy is going on a missionary trip far away to tell the Ifé people about Jesus, and he will be gone for three weeks. What if the mosquitos bite him and he catches malaria? What if Daddy gets sick—and can’t share the gospel with the Ifé? But when Daddy returns, a special Bible story reminds Marilissa of the power of prayer and of God’s miraculous love for his children, no matter where they are.
