“”Referred to by one reviewer as “Beautiful heartbreaking animal stories,” The Warren is a novel of rabbit stories as told by rabbits that will manage to mend your heart again by the end of each story. Filled with tales of how tame house rabbits and wild rabbits live and die; each story is an individual story which still manages to blend into the other stories within the novel to form the complete novel. The first ofAuthor Fred L. Tate’s five planned novels in “The Warren” series of animal novels, “The Warren” is to be followed by; “Melanie the Badger,” “Aataentsic,” and The Watcher by the Wall.” Fred L. Tate has also completed the first novel of his second series of animal novels, “Revenant”; the story of a wild wolf, and his young human companion, in his forest.””
A must read for all, especially animal lover’s…loved it!!

Love, hope, fear, abandonment, sorrow, loss, theses are not exclusive to humans. These stories will open your eyes, and your heart to what many animals go through. You don’t have to be a rabbit person, pet owner, or animal lover to enjoy this book. Seeing the world through their eyes will make you rethink what you thought you knew about rabbits, or any other pet. If reading this doesn’t tug at your heart, you need to find out where it went missing. Also, this is a MUST READ for anyone thinking of buying a rabbit as a gift for a child!

This is a must read for anybody who loves rabbits, ever had a rabbit touch their lives or is a volunteer at a rabbit rescue. Rabbits are the third most popular pets, but they remain the most misunderstood and horrendously abused as they don’t have a “voice” like a cat or a dog. Fred has managed to give them voices, and bring tears to your eyes. The tale of Bumper the Bunny who’s love for his human is so great that he couldn’t wait to join her over that rainbow bridge to Roi and Anastasia’s love story, you’ll be beguiled, weeping and chuckling over the voices of these amazing animals. While each story is a standalone they are interconnected through loses and abandonment (mainly humans abandoning these rabbits after they’ve gotten tired of them and got bored of the poor bunnies). It’s hard to find another writer that can capture the rabbit’s indomitable spirit much like Richard Adam’s have with Watership Down. It is worthy of a read and I look forward to more tales from Fred.

One of the best books I have read in my lifetime. You can tell he’s a rabbit owner and also has a kind heart. Anyone who has lost a beloved pet hopes his telling of a pets passing is true. I hope he writes a children’s book about death and animals.
I've been around Christian publishing since 1987 when I helped our ministry self-publish an important resource for Vietnam veterans and their families. That book went on to be picked up by a royalty publisher and has since sold over 250,000 copies with a million in print.
I'm glad you're here…stop by often and take advantage of all the information we make available.

Our Jumpstart! class explores subjects such as finding inspiration, sorting through ideas, how to begin, using personal examples, writing a powerful opening, avoiding writer’s block, and other useful topics. It will orient you toward publishing success.
Please join us for this friendly, informative four-week clinic, where aspiring and established writers receive warm, online professional group coaching to help them get started.
Okay, you’ve got a book underway, or your idea is at the ready. Excellent! But sometimes, as you write, you wonder, is this going any place? Am I doing this right? Maybe you have writer’s block or would like professional guidance and encouragement to help you progress through your manuscript.
We can do that!
Our six-week program consists of the coach and the author putting their heads together and taking the book from the idea, or beginning, stages, through a completed framework for the book. The coach guides the author through each week’s writing and preparation and returns the author’s submission with thorough, encouraging, and detailed notes. The following day, the coach and author meet online or by phone to discuss the week’s work, clarify anything that needs explanation, brainstorm solutions, and build the author’s confidence.
We like to make custom recommendations based on your manuscript and message, so it helps us to learn more about you and actually review the manuscript in order to come up with a publishing strategy.
