Love, trust, and new beginnings amid loss and rediscovery.

Liz Colton lost herself after years as a caregiver and wife to a narcissistic husband, but when he dies, her cousin invites her to come for a visit on her boat home in Savannah. This could be the opportunity Liz needs to rediscover who she is. However, as she forms new relationships—and a possible romantic interest—her adult children voice their concerns and doubts. Now Liz must navigate conflicting emotions. Should she trust her own judgment or listen to the opinions of others, possibly losing her chance at true self-discovery and fulfilling love?

Thirty years ago, Luke’s life shattered when his wife aborted their child without consulting him. In anger, he divorced her and fled to Alaska, where he built a successful business. Now, after his father’s death, he returns to Savannah to be near his mother and face his past. But when his dock-mates’ cousin arrives, will he find the courage to open his heart again?

This story follows Liz as she discovers a path of love, faith, and new beginnings. Will she find the courage to embrace what lies ahead, or will suspicions and fear keep her from the freedom and true love her heart longs to experience?
