Out of My Mind and Back to My Senses

Author Richard Hay is a retired United States Air Force Major whose major military decorations include: three Distinuished Flying Crosses, nine Air Medals, and two Air Force Commendation Medals. His "long search" for truth was primarily inspired by an emergency bailout in 1970 while flying AC-119K "Stinger" gunships in Vietnam. Richard subsequently flew as a pilot for both Pan Am and United Airlines for 15 years, retiring in 2004 with nearly 15,000 hours of pilot and flight engineer time. He holds both BS in Marketing (1967) and an MBA (1976) frin Penn State University. Richard has been married to his wide Sandy for 49 years and has two sons, Mathew, a Lead Corrective Excersize Specialist (CES), Weight-Loss Consultant and Personal Training Coach; and Aaron, a LMSW Child anf Family Therapist. He has three-granddaughters, Natalie, Gabriella, and Sasha; and two grandsons, Josiah and Elliot - all of whom, he dearly loves.
