Out from the Emerald Woods

C.L. Hughey is a USAF veteran who currently resides in Oklahoma, where she and her dog, Tierza, are currently training with search and rescue unit, and is active in a local militia. She has two sisters and two nieces and nephews who live close by. She has been writing stories for her family and friends since she was ten years old, having several works in process currently. Her first published work was in 1995. She also maintains a blog The Spiritual Well Blogspot, a Facebook page, and leads an online Bible study group. C.L. enjoys camping, hiking, Dutch Oven Cooking, fishing, and HAM radio. Her favorite pastime when she needs to rejuvenate is loading up her canine companion and heading to the lake, where they spend a lot of their time swimming and playing along the shoreline.
