From False Religion to Freedom with Vicky Wedel

Today on the Project Redemption Podcast, Vicky Wedel tells us how she was raised in a false religion and at the age of 20 God made Himself known to her through hearing that she was going to hell. You don’t want to miss this conversation.

Vicky Wedel is a follower of Jesus, wife and mother of adult twins. She and her husband live in Edmond, Oklahoma. For over 20 years she was a leader in Bible Study Fellowship and taught kindergarten at her church. Vicky is the author of The Messy Narrow Road, a book of devotions and poems sharing what God has taught her through trials and the messy life of living as a Christian.

What is your favorite verse?

My favorite used to be Romans 12:2 because being raised in a false religion (Urantia). I needed a transformed mind but now I’m torn between it and Habakkuk 1:5. Like Habakkuk, I’ve cried out to God (for years) to remedy our family’s dysfunction and (though I didn’t know it at the time) like Habakkuk the situation was going to get worse.

“When you walk in the truth you see God for who He is.”

Meet the Publisher

I've been around Christian publishing since 1987 when I helped our ministry self-publish an important resource for Vietnam veterans and their families. That book went on to be picked up by a royalty publisher and has since sold over 250,000 copies with a million in print.

I'm glad you're here…stop by often and take advantage of all the information we make available.
