Mary M. Dixon

Mary M. Dixon is a seasoned writer, retired language arts teacher, and poetry coach who has spent her life weaving faith and creativity into words that encourage and inspire. With a master’s degree in education and a deep love for scripture, she draws from both her professional background and personal walk with God to create poetry that connects everyday experiences with timeless biblical truth. 

The author of five published books—Faith Finds Expression, Through Eyes of Faith, Uncle Ike’s River, Maizee, and now Grace Notes!—Mary’s work consistently reflects her passion for helping others see God’s presence in every season of life. Her poetry speaks to both the joys of country living and the challenges of cultural change, always pointing back to the steadfastness of God’s Word. 

Mary resides in the rural Midwest, where faith, family, and heritage remain central to her life. Known for her faithful, nurturing, and honorable spirit, she writes with the prayer that each reader will be drawn closer to Christ and encouraged to share His message of grace with the world.
