She forms a plan to derail the mobsters, but when the threat against her escalates, Beverly is forced to go into hiding in the Alaskan wilderness. Follow Beverly as she utilizes all her wits and untested skills to bring to justice an enemy who plays dirty.
DEATH, GREED, and INTRIGUE are the stuff of detective novels and not expected in a prestigious coastal enclave. But there is plenty after the chairman of Newport Beach’s esteemed bank is found murdered. Enter single mom Beverly Battersby, the bank’s hardworking CFO. Devastated by her mentor’s death, she is horrified to discover the new executives above her are mobsters in the process of embezzling millions—which would leave her beloved community in ruins—and intend to lay the blame squarely on her.
Infuriated, Beverly pulls together her own covert team to take down the swindlers, with the help of Alaskan banker Robert Langdon. Even as her squad explodes into action, the threat against Beverly escalates, and she’s forced to set aside her growing romance with Robert and to go into hiding in the Alaskan wilderness. But if the assassins track her down, is she capable of defending and protecting her small family? And will those bilking her bank and community ever face their crimes? Follow Beverly as she utilizes all her wits and untested skills to bring to justice an enemy who plays dirty.
Beverly’s Justice is a very fun, fast moving, delightful book that throws the reader into a cauldron and tumbles and tosses until finally spilling him out again. The reader will be thrilled by the experience and right away, look for another book for a similar tumbling.

Bill Avery is really a gifted writer. I mean he holds a core writing creativity that becomes reality.
When a well conceived plot, crafted carefully, maintaining a-real-life sequencing, is brought to your attention, you know right away that a work of quality is on your desk.
If in the course of a relaxed reading you do not need any encouragement to go to the next page— and the next; thankful that the language used is mastered with a rigorous respect for syntactic resources; with ample vocabulary that’s so rich in the variety of words selected—each one of them coined to create a believable set of events—a literary fictional success not frequently attained, then you hope that the libraries include this remarkable novel, Beverly’s justice, in their collections as an extraordinary example of XXI century American novels.

At last a rare writer has brought attention to Christian women who serve dual roles in their families and in fulltime jobs Few authors have noticed these heroic women, much less write about them.
Avery brilliantly created an endearing character in Beverly, a local girl who rose to become the CFO of the community’s most powerful bank, tossed her into an impossibly dangerous situation and infiltrate her beloved bank with the Mafia, who occupy the two executive positions above her. We watch as she morphs from a quiet, hard-working, single Mom, into a powerful leader of the bank, discovering, previously unknown God-given talents and abilities, accomplishing amazing feats. I wasn’t able to put the book down and couldn’t wait to finish it. Now, I can’t wait to read it again—and again.
I've been around Christian publishing since 1987 when I helped our ministry self-publish an important resource for Vietnam veterans and their families. That book went on to be picked up by a royalty publisher and has since sold over 250,000 copies with a million in print.

Are you eager to write your first book? Perhaps you’ve launched one book but have an idea for a second or a third. If you’re uncertain what the next step looks like on the path from concept to completed manuscript, we can help.
Our Jumpstart! class explores subjects such as finding inspiration, sorting through ideas, how to begin, using personal examples, writing a powerful opening, avoiding writer’s block, and other useful topics. It will orient you toward publishing success.
Please join us for this friendly, informative four-week clinic, where aspiring and established writers receive warm, online professional group coaching to help them get started.
Okay, you’ve got a book underway, or your idea is at the ready. Excellent! But sometimes, as you write, you wonder, is this going any place? Am I doing this right? Maybe you have writer’s block or would like professional guidance and encouragement to help you progress through your manuscript.
We can do that!
Our six-week program consists of the coach and the author putting their heads together and taking the book from the idea, or beginning, stages, through a completed framework for the book. The coach guides the author through each week’s writing and preparation and returns the author’s submission with thorough, encouraging, and detailed notes. The following day, the coach and author meet online or by phone to discuss the week’s work, clarify anything that needs explanation, brainstorm solutions, and build the author’s confidence.
We like to make custom recommendations based on your manuscript and message, so it helps us to learn more about you and actually review the manuscript in order to come up with a publishing strategy.
