Scott W. Kirk

Scott W. Kirk is an award-winning playwright, counselor, and storyteller whose work has inspired audiences worldwide. His educational plays—Character Counts, 2Cool, and Smoke Secrets—have challenged thousands of students to make better life choices, while his dramatic works, such as Abraham & Sarah and The Denmark Story, have earned critical acclaim. 

As a scriptwriter, Scott has written more than 60 episodes for Unshackled, the world’s longest-running radio drama, heard by over a million listeners every week. He has also served with YWAM Scotland, Saltworks Theatre Company, K-LOVE Radio, and Feed My Starving Children. 

Holding an MA in Communication from Regent University and advanced studies in Pastoral Counseling, Scott combines his love of storytelling with his heart for people. His stories reflect a deep understanding of the human condition and a steadfast belief that grace can transform even the hardest seasons. 

Scott is the father of five adult children and the proud grandfather of nine. He makes his home near Chicago, not far from the Fox River.
