Raewyn Elsegood

Raewyn Elsegood is a Sydney-based chaplain, writer, and speaker whose ministry has touched countless lives through her compassionate presence and faith-rooted wisdom. With over a decade of experience in chaplaincy—including serving as State Leader for Sports Chaplaincy Australia and now as a disaster recovery chaplain—Raewyn has walked alongside people in their most vulnerable moments, offering comfort, prayer, and presence when words fall short.

Her debut book, 21 Gifts: A Sacred Dance through Grief and Healing, was born from her personal journey through loss after the passing of her 19-year-old daughter, Amy. Through this sacred intersection of motherhood, ministry, and mourning, Raewyn discovered how God transforms heartbreak into a bridge of hope.

A frequent speaker at conferences and church events, Raewyn is known for her heartfelt storytelling, gentle humor, and unwavering message that grief and grace can coexist. She lives in Sydney with her husband and continues Amy’s legacy through the Amy Elsegood Legacy Scholarship at One Maker Academy.
