Nora Carman first began to depict the world as seen from a child’s perspective during the joys of reading with her two young children and creating stories together. Her experience as a tutor and substitute teacher heightened her awareness of students’ needs. She holds a BA in literature and master’s in public health. After thirteen moves in twenty years as a military family, they now call San Diego home. Some of her favorite things include time with family and friends, s’mores by a campfire, and long hikes.  

Trevor Connelly has a BA in history and is in graduate school for his master’s in teaching. He is a gifted artist who enjoys bringing stories to life with his imaginative illustrations.
