Michael Marrinan

Author Michael Marrinan began telling his kids his made-up tales of Algernon over thirty years ago on frequent, long trips between Arizona and California to help pass the time. Algernon of Ferriwinkle was their favorite, and they never tired of the story and of their father’s embellishments and sound effects. His now-grown children encouraged him to share the story with others. He is excited to not only bring the story to life in book form but also to collaborate with his thirteen-year-old talented granddaughter, Bella, who is providing the book’s colorful and creative illustrations.

Publishing a wholesome story for tweens and teens is a lifelong dream of mine—and I hope all my readers’ dreams come true. Thank you for considering donating to this project and supporting positive literary creations. ~Michael
