Marcia Gladwish was educated as an artist at Sweet Briar College and Stony Brook University, and has been an elementary school and art teacher, world traveler and cross-cultural Bible storyteller. She is the mom of four daughters and has four grandchildren, and lives and works in Seattle, Wash., where she is fighting breast cancer, painting vivid watercolors and making her collaged books.
