John G. Stevens

After spending much of his adult life as a clinical social worker for foster children, John Stevens is now a lumberjack of sorts. He and his wife Cindy have a small goat farm just north of Spokane Washington on ten acres of pine, tamarack, and fir. They work with the Department of Natural Resources to tidy up the forest which had been long neglected. Cindy is a professional watercolorist. Their daughter, Oriana, bring this character in this book to life. She is also an artist whose distinction is growing in the Spokane arts world.

John enjoys volunteering as a mentor for Spokane’s Union Gospel Mission, which serves the homeless and those struggling with various addictions. John and Cindy co lead a small group for the Vine Fellowship in Deer Park Washington.

Writing children’s book has become a joy as A Christmas Tea(se) find its way into their collection which also includes Of Beaks and Snouts and Baja’s Wounded Healer.
