Your First 100 Readers Matter More Than Thousands

This Week’s Tip: Your First 100 Readers Matter More Than Thousands

When it comes to marketing, small is powerful. You don’t need thousands of readers to get momentum—you just need your first circle. Those first 100 readers will become your cheerleaders, early reviewers, and the ones who start word-of-mouth momentum.

???? Here’s What to Do This Week (Choose Your Path):

If your book hasn’t been released yet:

  1. Write down the names of 25–50 people already in your circle—friends, family, coworkers, ministry contacts, or supporters.

  2. Personally invite them to be among your “first readers.” You can say: “Your support would mean so much. Would you consider being one of my first 100 readers when my book releases?”

  3. Create a simple way to keep in touch with them—an email list, a private Facebook group, or even a group text thread.

If your book is already out but you haven’t reached 100 readers yet:

  1. Re-engage your circle by making a fresh list of 25–50 people.

  2. Invite them with a simple message: “I’m building my first 100 readers, and I’d love for you to be part of that circle. Would you be willing to grab a copy and share it with someone else who might need it?”

  3. Share stories, quotes, or reviews you already have—it sparks curiosity and gives new readers a reason to jump in.

???? Why This Works:

  • It’s easier to build momentum with a small circle than chase a big crowd.
  • Early supporters naturally spread the word—they know you and want to cheer you on.
  • A strong foundation of 100 readers can snowball into hundreds (and then thousands) over time.

Remember: Every movement starts with a small circle. Whether you’re launching or relaunching, your first 100 readers are not “just a start”—they are the spark that ignites the fire.

Take Action:
This week, choose your path—start gathering your first readers, or re-engage to reach your first 100.
