Take the Next Brave Step

Writing Wise: Take the Next Brave Steo

By April, something has started to grow.

You’ve been showing up. Staying rooted. Trusting the process. And now, even if it feels small, something is stirring. A clearer message. A next step. An opportunity to move forward.

But this is often where hesitation creeps in.

What if it’s not ready? What if it’s not enough? What if it’s not received well?

Courage doesn’t mean those questions disappear. It means you don’t let them decide for you.

The next step in your writing isn’t about having it all figured out—it’s about being willing to move forward in faith.

You don’t need to see the whole path. Just take the next step God is placing in front of you. Share the words. Submit the piece. Keep writing the chapter.

Someone is waiting on the other side of your yes.

Reflect & Write

Writing Prompt

What is one next step you’ve been hesitating to take in your writing? Write it down, then write a short prayer asking God for the courage to move forward.

Journaling Question

What fear is most holding you back right now? What truth from God’s Word speaks directly to that fear?

Scripture to Hold Onto

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”  Joshua 1:9, NIV
