Leave the Results to God
Writing Wise: Leave the Results to God
As writers, it's easy to measure success by numbers. Social media engagement. Reviews. Book sales. Invitations. Opportunities.
But God measures differently.
He doesn't ask you to control the outcome. God asks you to be faithful with the message He has entrusted to you.
The seeds you plant today may not bear fruit tomorrow. Some may take years to grow. Others may impact lives you'll never meet this side of heaven. That's why our confidence cannot rest in visible results. It must rest in the One who promises that His Word never returns empty.
Your responsibility is faithfulness. God is responsible for the harvest.
Write with excellence. Love your readers well. Share with courage. Then place the results in God's hands and trust Him to accomplish His purposes through your words.
Every act of obedience matters, even when you can't yet see the outcome.

Writing Prompt
Think about an area of your writing where you've been focused on the outcome. Write a prayer surrendering that expectation to God and asking Him to help you focus on faithfulness instead.
Journaling Question
How would your writing change if your definition of success was simply being faithful to what God has asked you to write?
Scripture to Hold Onto
"So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow." 1 Corinthians 3:7, NIV
