For close to four decades Melanie Shull has been proclaiming Christ to audiences through music, speaking, and writing. She’s a natural motivator, encourager, and investigator. As Founder and Editor-in-Chief for Living Real Magazine, Melanie’s always searching for real stories that reveal what real faith in real life looks like. She’s also the host of the Living Real Podcast and founder of The Red-Carpet Café, where she teaches the Word, mentors, and disciples women.
Melanie is the author of Unlocked Hearts, Unleashed Joy: Forgiveness is the Key (Bible study/ memoir), Renew, Refresh, Refine: Your Heart, Soul, and Mind (Bible study), and The Red-Carpet Journal.
She lives in the beautiful Palmetto State of South Carolina along with her husband, Rick. They have two adult children, Turner and Madison.
Melanie admits to having a serious coffee cup fetish, being a football fanatic, a chocolate lover, and being obsessed with all things Christmas. She says, “As long as I have access to fresh coffee and a bowl of Peanut M&Ms, Jesus and I can tackle anything.”
A former “cultural Christian,” Kathy Howard now has a passion for God’s Word that’s contagious. With more than 30 years of experience, Kathy has taught in dozens of states, internationally, and in a wide range of venues including multi-church conferences and large online events. She has a MRE from the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary. Kathy is the author of 8 books, including Lavish Grace, and writes for multiple online magazines and devotional sites. Kathy and her husband live in the Dallas/Ft Worth area near family. They have three married children, five grandchildren, and two accidental dogs.
