How can I sell more than one book at a time?

It's time for another simple book marketing tip you can actually put into practice this week—without adding hours to your schedule or one more complicated strategy to your list.

This Week’s Question

How can I sell more than one book at a time?

The answer may be simpler than you think: Stop looking only for individual readers. Start looking for groups your book could serve.

Churches, ministries, schools, nonprofits, businesses, Bible studies, and support groups are always looking for trusted resources that speak to the specific needs and topics their people are facing.

This is where one copy can easily turn into ten. Twenty-five. Fifty—or more.

That is the opportunity behind bulk sales!

The goal is not to contact every ministry or organization you can find. It is to identify groups already serving the people your book was written to help.

Then begin a conversation about their needs, not your sales goals.

Instead of saying, "Would you like to buy my book?" you might say something like: "I noticed your ministry supports women who are grieving. My book was written with those women in mind, to help them process loss, hold onto hope, and experience God's comfort along the way. I'd love to send you a copy to see if it could be a helpful resource for the women you serve."

Your simple action step:

Write down at least five churches, ministries, organizations, schools, or groups that may be a natural fit for your book.

Then choose at least one and send a short, personal message that:

  • Acknowledges the work they are already doing

  • Explains briefly how your book could support it

  • Offers to send a review copy or discuss group options

Do not wait until you have the perfect pitch, pricing sheet, or bulk-sales plan. Simply start with one thoughtful conversation.

Not every ministry or organization will be the right fit. And, that's okay! But one well-matched "yes" could place your book into the hands of dozens of readers at once.

We'd love for you to comment below and tell us: What kind of group could use your book as a resource?

P.S. Have a book idea stirring? Whether you've published with us before, still on the fence, or you're just beginning to wonder what that could look like, we'd love to hear about it.
