Christy has served in women’s ministries for over thirty years and has worked several years as an adult training tech for those with developmental disabilities. She has served as a companion volunteer for Hospice from time to time, while maintaining a passion for photographing God’s creation both at home and abroad.
She is also on the advisory board of Shield North Carolina, an anti-trafficking organization dedicated to ending human trafficking in North Carolina.
Christy resides in the Raleigh, North Carolina area with her husband of more than thirty-six years. They have three married children and seven grandchildren.
