Learning how God sees us can help us change how we see ourselves.
Instead of looking in the mirror and having the world’s often harmful and untrue words reflected back, we should see what God sees—a person who is loved and treasured. Author's Note: God's Word is Truth. If children learn who they are in Christ at their young age, that revelation and understanding can define how they perceive and react to bullying - whether they are the child being bullied, or they themselves are the bully. In a world where identity confusion is prevalent, knowing who they are in Christ will help children recognize that bullying behavior is not of God and leave them with no doubt of what God Said - they are important, they are not alone, they are loved, they are special, they are protected, they are strong, and they are blessed!
About The Author
Jennifer Boado Simmons
Jennifer Simmons spent years devoting her time to children as a church and private Christian school teacher. “It is a joy to pour into children’s lives and see them flourish in the Lord.” After giving an anti-bullying presentation at a youth event hosted by Williams Uplift Foundation, she was Spirit-led to write God Said, her first book and devotional.
God Said teaches children who they are in Christ while also providing Biblical affirmations that minister to both the reader and the listener. As a military child, Jennifer has been blessed to live all over the world and calls Phoenix, Arizona, home for now. The mom of two amazing girls, and a new grandmother to a beautiful baby girl, continues to volunteer for the Williams Uplift Foundation and for the Kingdom Kidz Ministry at Kingdom Church in Phoenix.
