A Tip about the Tips
This Week’s Tip: This week, we want to share a different kind of tip … one that might surprise you. “A Tip about the Tips.”
Recently, after reading the weekly tip “Turn a 3-Star Review Into a Powerful Post,” we received an email from Denise Wilson, author of Seven Words You Never Want to Hear. After sharing how much she loved the tip — and how she had used it herself in the past — she wrote:
"I confess, I have opened very few of these weekly tip emails. I just went back now and opened a few and see that I have missed out. You have some excellent content that I will be sure to access over the coming months. You are doing a great job of serving your authors!"
Can we just say… Denise’s email made our day!
Because here’s the truth … Life is full. Our inboxes are overflowing. Often, we’re not sure if it’s noise, or value, or we tell ourselves, “I’ll read that later,” and sometimes… later never comes.
But when we do pause and open something that speaks to us, we often realize we’ve been missing out on exactly the encouragement or tool we needed most.
And that’s what happened to Denise.
She went back.
She opened a few tips.
She realized what she had been missing.
And she decided to lean in.
???? Here’s your gentle invitation this week:
1. Take 5 minutes to scroll back through past tips. (Search your email for “Weekly Tip”) - Pick one that sparks your curiosity.
2. Choose just one small action to implement this month. You don’t need to do them all. Start with one.
3. Watch what happens when you move from “I should” to “I will.” Momentum builds with the smallest steps.
Missed a tip (or two)? You can catch up on all 19 Weekly Tips here. [Market Like a Pro: Weekly Tip]
???? Why This Works:
-
It's a reminder that you already have simple, actionable tools at your fingertips. You don’t need to start from scratch.
-
It will help you reconnect with your “why.” These tips aren’t about algorithms or hype. They’re about serving your reader and stewarding your message.
- It’s about progress, not perfection. You don’t have to catch up all at once. Just start today.
So, if you’ve been meaning to open these tips but haven’t …
You’re not alone.
Denise wasn’t either.
And guess what? There’s still time, and your message is worth it!
Keep taking those small, sacred steps.
We always love seeing how you’re putting these tips into action. Comment on this post and let us know which one has helped you the most, or which one you’re trying next!
Cheering you on—always!
