Description

The book of Revelation is filled with Old Testament images and its language of fulfillment, reminding readers of the exodus of God’s people from the land of Egypt. In reviewing God’s Word, however-both Israel’s epic deliverance and the events of the last days foretold in the New Testament – Pastor Bill Sturm has concluded that there is no Biblical basis for believing God will remove His people before He judges the ungodly in the end times. How can Christians make sense of this? What should be our response? This verse-by-verse commentary on Revelation explores these themes within the King James text (assisted by easy-to-understand Greek reflection) so that you can ready yourself for what’s to come-remaining steadfast in the time of trouble until the ultimate Exodus at Christ’s 2nd Coming.

Excellent study tool! Thorough, well thought out, precision in language and to the point. Pastor Sturm faces perceived difficulties head on and relies on Scripture to answer Scripture. His support of the Historic Premillennialism perspective is beyond that of most other commentators. His application of consistent Hermeneutics is very refreshing in a world of authors who are so married to their positions that they will play scriptural gymnastics just to make their point. Pastor Sturm does not play the game of Scripture twisting. I am a committed Amillennialist; however, I recognize the integrity, Orthodoxy and significance of Historic Premillennialism.

Has he converted me to his perspective, no; has he caused me to dig deeper to be sure in my position, without question, does his book hold an integral part in my library, absolutely; will I continue to refer to his commentary, most definitely. This book will be a welcomed addition to your library. The blessings it has added to my life, just by the sheer demand it makes of me to study the Holy Scriptures, is immeasurable. BUY THIS BOOK!!
