Tough times come to every life as snow covers the magnolias in a winter storm. Difficult circumstances, disappointments, lost dreams, and our own failures can cover our hearts and prevent us from moving forward. In Snow on Magnolias, you will find inspirational stories of southern women who faced cold and difficult winters in their lives brought on by loss, abandonment, abuse, tragedies and trouble. They bravely take off the masks that so many of us hide behind, and they share the intimate details of their journeys-from heartache and brokenness to peace and renewal. These women found hope and healing when they chose to follow God’s call to forgive. Snow on Magnolias will help you to: Find a place of hope in seemingly hopeless situations – Gain insight into practical ways to forgive – Release bitterness from past hurts – Move forward into new places – Realize the cost of failing to forgive – Walk in freedom – Live the full life God intends for you. “In this world of deception and mistrust, most people fear being transparent. In Snow on Magnolias, Penny beautifully leads us to a place of transparency and forgiveness as she and others have dared to follow our Lord.” -Sharon Corbett, Founder-Director of Last Days Woman Ministries.

“There are many who are living every day in bondage because of unforgiveness. Snow on Magnolias is a beautiful and powerful tool God has created to demonstrate the freedom that comes to a life through forgiving. This book is not fiction, but rather real women, in real life, with real hurts who are now living in freedom because they chose to forgive as HE has forgiven them. Read and be blessed.” Alice-Kaye Fuller

“Penny Smith Jones has done an excellent job in Snow on Magnolias showing both the hopelessness of man apart from God, and the everlasting and perfect love of the Father. As she gives us snapshots of real people as they try to accomplish life without relying on the Father, often running from Him, she brings us back to God and the amazing work that is accomplished in a life that is fully surrendered to Him. She gives excellent examples of the depth of the Father’s love and the beauty of restoration as lives are lived in total obedience to Him.”

“Snow on Magnolias is a book that should be in every person’s go-to book collection. There is growth and comfort found in the stories of several women, who pour out their testimonies onto the pages. So often we think we are alone in our struggles to forgive, move forward, cope, extend and accept grace. But Penny Jones has given us a gift in the form of a book reminding us that we are not alone, healing does exist, and His grace is sufficient to cover all things.”

Excellent Book on Forgiveness , Ms. Jones provides an interesting and easy read relating the stories of Southern women who faced overwhelming life circumstances. Using engaging narrative, the author provides stories whose common thread is forgiveness. Eventually, she comes to her own tale and (with the help of her husband) recounts the deep issues of her own marriage the road that led her to choose healing and forgiveness. This is a great motivational tool for those who know they have work to do, but don’t know where to start. Behind the moving stories is a God that is big enough to meet the needs of those who call on Him.

Snow On Magnolias is a gut-punch of truth and a salve of inspiration. Only women who have lived through and survived life’s hardest paths can share their stories with such honesty and passion. The author’s compilation of real life voices leaves us with encouragement and hope that we too can find forgiveness for ourselves and for others.
I've been around Christian publishing since 1987 when I helped our ministry self-publish an important resource for Vietnam veterans and their families. That book went on to be picked up by a royalty publisher and has since sold over 250,000 copies with a million in print.
I'm glad you're here…stop by often and take advantage of all the information we make available.

Are you eager to write your first book? Perhaps you’ve launched one book but have an idea for a second or a third. If you’re uncertain what the next step looks like on the path from concept to completed manuscript, we can help.
Our Jumpstart! class explores subjects such as finding inspiration, sorting through ideas, how to begin, using personal examples, writing a powerful opening, avoiding writer’s block, and other useful topics. It will orient you toward publishing success.
Please join us for this friendly, informative four-week clinic, where aspiring and established writers receive warm, online professional group coaching to help them get started.
Okay, you’ve got a book underway, or your idea is at the ready. Excellent! But sometimes, as you write, you wonder, is this going any place? Am I doing this right? Maybe you have writer’s block or would like professional guidance and encouragement to help you progress through your manuscript.
We can do that!
Our six-week program consists of the coach and the author putting their heads together and taking the book from the idea, or beginning, stages, through a completed framework for the book. The coach guides the author through each week’s writing and preparation and returns the author’s submission with thorough, encouraging, and detailed notes. The following day, the coach and author meet online or by phone to discuss the week’s work, clarify anything that needs explanation, brainstorm solutions, and build the author’s confidence.
We like to make custom recommendations based on your manuscript and message, so it helps us to learn more about you and actually review the manuscript in order to come up with a publishing strategy.
